Aged 24 months in Neutral French Oak and new oak. Aromas of violet, red cherry and plum are abound. On the palate you’ll experience a medium bodied wine that carries flavors of tart cherry, sweet tobacco, pomegranate and nutmeg. A lovely wine with bright acid, smooth tannins and a tantalizing vanilla finish.
To be "fast" in road racing you must maintain the highest speed possible through the corners and get to the Apex of every turn. The Apex is the exact point on the inside of the turn where your car must be so you can be back to full throttle and it's different for every turn. Our goal for every vintage is to find the Apex.

Production Notes
Punched down three times daily. Pressed slightly sweet to allow for both primary and secondary fermentation to complete in barrel. We blended several times to get just the right balance between these varietals emphasizing that the whole is better than any of the parts.
Food Pairing Notes
This wine pairs best with a juicy blue cheese burger. We also have been enjoying this wine with roasted pork and red meats like NY steak.
