2019 Syrah Portico Hills

Aged 12 months in neutral French oak, this beautiful, balanced and elegant wine exudes notes of boysenberry, black raspberry, green peppercorn, and sweet tobacco on the finish.  We created an engaging wine with structure from the Portico Hills Vineyard. Located norht of the town Los Alamos in a relativley cool climate. THe hilly topography of sandy-loam with veins of limestone promotes drainage and produces low yields of concentrated and highly aromatic fruit.
