Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
This lovely Chardonnay wine is produced from the 43 Wente clone in the famous Sta. Rita Hills. Aged one year in neutral oak barrels and racked only once it shows a hint of oak. A very balanced wine with nice acidity that is light straw in color. With a silky medium body texture as it slides on to the palate, a myriad of enticing aromas and flavors combine and compliment: Meyer Lemon, light vanilla, pie crust along with a hints of ginger, green tea and Thai basil. With a light to medium finish it is simply “Chardonnay Elegant” as we like say!

A really beautiful balance between creaminess and subtle oak flavors. I'm excited to have this wine for Spring time!
